Alexlouise Thomas, Rock Solid Money Maker

After entering the workforce at the age of 15, Alexlouise Thomas retired at just 32. She did it through hard work and smart investments and now tells The Industry Leaders how she helps other people do the same thing for themselves.

How did you end up sitting where you are today?

I left home and school at 15 and got a pot washing job in an Italian restaurant. I worked my way up the ranks in various kitchens and got to the head chef position by 22! I carried on working whilst investing in property and personal development courses and retired at 32. I now help people do the same.

What kind of work does your role involve?

Success coaching. I help people get over around and dissolve the barriers they have with money. Mostly online now with some live workshops. I work with people long term to fulfil their dreams.

What gets you excited about your industry?

Seeing the transformation people have when they take their lives on, it's miraculous! Also, the collaborations and joint ventures that make things possible that an individual could not achieve alone.

What's the best advice anyone ever gave you?

Get a coach! I've had more success and results with velocity ever since! And that one thing leads on to lots and lots of other very good advice.

What, or who inspires you?

People who have come from nothing and built a successful business and brand. Gary V, Tony Robbins, Brene Brown, to list a few. My clients inspire me on a daily basis too - they give me one hell of a reason to get up in the morning!

How do you keep up to speed with what's happening in your industry?

Networking, industry memberships and now Clubhouse, where there is amazing sharing and up to date conversations on what's happening.

What was the most challenging project or situation you've overcome?

The year I turned 30 when I separated from my husband. Two days later, my brother's death in a cycling accident, and then the fall out from that which involved not working due to everything that had happened. I had my mid-life crisis early!

You finish work today and step outside the office to find a lottery ticket that ends up winning $10 million. What would you do?

Day-to-day, I would keep doing exactly what I am doing now. The prize money would get invested into property and the livestock farm we are about to buy (my other passion).

How do you switch off after a day at work?

I walk my springer spaniels in the woods. I also have meals out with a girlfriend in nice restaurants, have a massage, or sit and chat with my husband.

If you had one wish for the future of your industry, what would it be?

Wow, I'm not often lost for words, and I'm stuck here! I love the coaching and the property industries at the moment, but I guess I would wish for more growth and collaboration in both!

What book or podcast should everyone know about?

Podcast: The Joe Rogan Show

Book: Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki is a very good start!

How should people connect with you?

In my private Facebook group, where I spend most of my time connecting with people who aren't clients!

clubhouse: @alexlouise
